Dave Dersham

Dave Dersham lives in Northampton, Mass but he has played throughout the lower 48. He has been part of the vibrant Northampton folk scene since the early 90’s. First Folk Sunday is honored to have Dave with us for the “Two Johns” concert on September 6, 2026.

Dersham’s own musical compositions align perfectly with John Prine’s and John Denver’s world views. His musical leanings, like Prine and Denver, are in the direction of justice, kindness, and environmental consciousness. In addition to his current 3 CD’s, a fourth CD, Farce, is scheduled for release in 2027.
